I Am: 40 Reasons to Trust God is a another one of my favorite bible storybooks. It is FOR SURE for children of ALL ages. We read it to our toddler and preschooler. This book is even more perfect for early and young readers as well! I actually have thought that I want to gift this bible to my grandma who is in her 80’s. Her walk with the Lord got serious in only the last 5 years, and her understanding isn’t what it used to be. I feel like this book would even be great for her. This is a great bible even for a non-christian household. It doesn’t cut corners in the details of the stories and can sneak in as a “bedtime story book” and the family would be getting 100% right on Gospel!

Target Reader:

Lift the Flap Bible is noted as being for children 3 to 5. We have been reading this book since our oldest was 1 though. I would say it’s ideal for all young children and even toddlers too. It does have flaps though, obviously, so if you have one of those flap-ripper-toddlers you will have to watch them closely. This would be a great book for a child in a not-so-christian home, it is a really  good mix of bible stories to expose a young child to the scriptures.

My Great Big God: 20 Bible Stories to Build a Great Faith is cute. With its board book pages, I would say this book can be for an infant all the way up to a young reader. It really simplifies the stories that it would be a great tool to familiarize your child with these bible stories.

9 Fruits Alive is a great early reader book! We of course read it to our kids who don’t read yet and they LOVE it. This is a great gift too for people who aren’t “Religious” because who doesn’t want their child to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit?!?
